The baby boy was born on January 3, 2017 and is said to be incredibly healthy.
This is the first child for both Jackson and the Qatari business man who met and married in 2012. The couple are both extremely quiet people and didn’t give much information about the pregnancy to the public. This silence was in part because of how old Jackson is and how the pregnancy could have had complications. We’re all happy for Janet!

Salma Hayek, 41
Salma Hayek’s story is a very serious one. Salma Hayek gave birth to her healthy daughter, Valentina in 2007 at the age of 41, but doctors also had some very serious news. Salma’s daughter was said to be born with down syndrome.
The baby was not born with the disease, but this is a fear mothers who are over than forty worry about. For mothers who are over 40, the chance of having a baby with down syndrome is roughly around 1 in 100, while mothers who are in their 30’s have a 1 in 1000 odds. Salma’s pregnancy was also riddled with other complications due to her age. At one point Salma’s husband, Francois-Henri Pinault stated, “It was a very difficult pregnancy. She almost lost the baby.”
Sophie B. Hawkins, 50
Sophie B. Hawkins is one smart lady when it came to making babies. The singer stated, “Being 50 is actually an amazing age to have a second child because I am more wise, calm, humorous, appreciative, simple and clear.” Freezing your eggs is an amazing way to secure the thought and action of having kids when you’re older, if you aren’t ready for children now. Freezing your embryos is the smartest thing if you don’t see children in your near future.
Julianne Moore, 41
Julianne Moore is one of the top actresses in Hollywood, and proves that things only get better with age. The actress gave birth to her daughter Liv in 2002, when the actress was 41 years old. Liv was born incredibly healthy, and to this day looks like the mini version of Moore, like mother like daughter.
Moore is also quite the opposite of a celebrity mom, who always seems to try to push her children into the spotlight. Moore has stated in the past that she wishes to give her family somewhat of a normal life, while still pursuing her own career and endeavors. She states she’s, “just a person with a job.”
Susan Sarandon, 39, 42, 45
