While the popular Christmas tradition of Elf on the Shelf has been around for more than a decade now, a dad in Utah applied the idea to a real-life experience. Lawrence turned his little baby boy into a cute Elf on the Shelf. He even crafted a complete story about his four-year-old son Rockwell and put the story up on his That Dad Blog along with images of his son in a cute costume. The little guy’s mother made his Elf on the Shelf costume.
Lawrence’s inspiration came from his friends who have been doing the Elf on the Shelf. But, he took it to a completely different level. I thought the tradition was weird, but exciting, Lawrence said.
Lawrence decided to come up with a real elf, so he went on to turn his little boy into the cutest Elf on the Shelf ever. The series of pictures shared by the little guy’s dad are fun, cute and awesome.
Lawrence said he intends to share new images of his elf until Christmas. He has so far shared a mix of photos- some of them showing the little elf in apparently risky places and situations. Do not panic because Lawrence is an art director and a photo-editing expert. His series of posts, featuring his son who is suffering from Down syndrome, have gone viral, and we expect to see more from him.
